Where We Set Up Along the Broward County Coast
Coverage is defined by drive time along A1A and I-95 rather than by counter hours, because there is no storefront to visit. The stretches below are the ones crews route daily. Each page covers what is different about that sand — access, wind, tide, crowding and the setups that suit it.
Fort Lauderdale Beach
The central stretch between Sunrise Boulevard and Las Olas Boulevard is the busiest sand in Broward County, and it is the block where arriving without gear makes the most difference. Parking sits inland across four lanes of A1A, so anything you carry crosses a signalised intersection first.
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea
Lauderdale-by-the-Sea has the calmest entry on this part of the coast and a reef close enough to snorkel from shore, which changes what people actually want on the sand: less sprawl, more shade, and a dry place to leave a mask and fins.
Galt Ocean Mile
Galt Ocean Mile is a wall of oceanfront towers with private walkovers, seasonal residents and a steady flow of month-long guests. Storage is the constraint here: units rarely have room for six loungers, and building rules often restrict what can sit on a balcony.
Harbor Beach
Harbor Beach is quieter than the promenade blocks and largely reached through private walkovers south of the Bahia Mar basin. Groups here tend to book shade structures and longer blocks rather than a two-hour drop.
Dania Beach
Dania Beach trades the promenade crowd for a broader, quieter shelf near the pier and the state park to the north. It is the stretch families pick when they want space between groups and a short walk from the car.
Pompano Beach
Pompano Beach anchors the northern end of our coverage. The rebuilt pier district concentrates visitors in a few blocks, while the sand north and south of it stays open even on holiday weekends.
Limits of the service area
Requests north of Pompano Beach or south past Hollywood are taken case by case and depend on the day’s route. State and county park property has its own access rules, so tell us where you plan to be and we will confirm whether we can stage there or at the nearest public access instead.
